Iconic 1980s Nakamichi Dragon Cassette Deck. I've also been told that he barely used it. More than any other cassette deck the Nakamichi Dragon is a very complicated machine inside and requires real skill when servicing and adjusting properly. Thankfully one of my regular restorers'Dolman Audio Visual' is fast becoming the go-to specialist for Nakamichi repairs in the UK, and he has meticulously gone through this machine for me changing belts, lubricating parts and calibrating everything with precision and care. As it was a basically tidy machine to start with we have not swapped out any major parts etc.

One common issue with these machines were the motorised heads can get out of sync, and while Peter has found a minute difference in output between the two on this example he assures me it would be un-noticeable to any but the very trained ear. Of course I'm happy to send you a full run down of the work done on this Dragon if desired.

Externally the case it nice and tidy but there are a series of scratches on the top front. We have softened these as best possible. This machine runs on UK 240v. This will be well packed and I use GSP by default for international orders. Feel free to ask questions and happy searching.
